Reporting to the CFO, as the Executive VP & Head of Human Resources, you will be acting as a strategic partner and being part of the higher management team, aiding senior management on HR related matters. The Executive VP & Head of Human Resources will be one of the major contributors to our global hyper growth. The expertise of this contributor is required to drive our organizational development. This key role will contribute to the development of business strategies and ensure alignment with employees, while coaching the managers throughout deployment of organizational changes and performance management.
As a strong human resources leader, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and directing all human resources related activities across multiple countries, as well as managing the compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management and administration functions. Within the role you will have the opportunity to analyse and evaluate current processes and procedures and advise as appropriate on actions to be taken.

You will step in and lead the HR function. You will assume full accountability in the shaping of culture & teams and building a strong performance team in a fast-growing company.

• Play an advisory role with the higher management team with regard to HR matters in order to help achieve our ambitious global hyper growth;
• Work with the higher management team to establish strategies including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, talent development, employee engagement & retention, and internal communications;
• Commit and work towards the mission and growth of the business;
• Implement and oversee the talent acquisition processes for the next growth phase including talent review process, succession planning, salary reviews, management training coordinating growth and other learning opportunities, as well as manage effective onboarding and offboarding;
• Contribute to strengthening the organizational culture focused on growth and team performance;
• Drive effective performance management system through key performance indicators, key positions and high performance; consolidate and analyze them in order to direct HR actions accordingly;
• Improve organizational, team and individual performance through effective delivery of human resources services;
• Implement best practices around staffing to ensure the business hiring requirements are being met in a timely manner, by helping to source, assessing and selecting high potential talent;
• Own dcbel total rewards and compensation structure, perform regular benchmarking and ensure competitiveness in a particularly competitive environment;
• Providing expert HR input into senior level decision making, day to day management and strategic and operational initiatives of the organisation;
• Help build, motivate, and mentor a team to create a high-performing culture and develop related programs to meet the ambitious and aggressive hiring plans;
• Oversee the talent pipeline and supporting leadership development plans;
• Help build and apply HR policies, procedures and SOPs;
• Provide coaching/guidance on people management skills, including career pathing and leveling, management and organizational designs;
• Create and manage budgets for the related groups;
• Analyze trends & use data to develop people programs and influence change;
• Help to create retention strategies for the organization;
• Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting contracts and helping resolve work-related concerns through effective performance coaching.

• 7 + years of experience in a senior HR role preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment;
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field;
• Professional level of knowledge in relevant subjects of HR operations including data management, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, retention, succession planning compensation and benefits, and organizational development;
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and capable of balancing the need of the business and the needs of the people;
• Tech savvy, with strong knowledge and experience in modern HR tools;
• Resourceful, self-motivated with a collaborative team mindset;
• Related experience within the emerging or fast-growing industry;
• Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences;
• Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions;
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to clearly and simply articulate complex ideas to a variety of audiences.
