As part of the continues growth, AMA is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Business Development Executive for the Canada market.
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing the Head of Sales Canada will be responsible for designing and executing the sales and business development strategy in its responsible market to ensure the success and growth of the business. He/she will be responsible for scaling business revenues through customer prospecting, technology evangelization and long-term relationship building.
The Head of Sales Canada will also play a leadership role in developing, owning and implementing all sales management activities throughout his territory. The ideal candidate in this role will be a key part of AMA leadership team and will have the unique opportunity to increase revenue.
The Head of Sales, Canada is a true business partner to the leadership team. He/she has provided excellent counsel, advice, vision, analyses and recommendations related to performance enhancement, business models and ongoing business activities.
The ideal candidate is at its best in a fast-changing environment and an emerging industry with plenty of ambiguity and interesting, challenging problems to solve.
The ideal candidate has already proven themselves with technology companies and is a strong field sales performer. Capable of taking ownership of all sales and business development efforts, he/she will build a strong sales pipeline and act as a catalyst for revenue growth.
The Head of Sales Canada will need to quickly immerse himself/herself to assess the company, technology, customers, and business opportunities, and will take ownership of all the key responsibilities of the role.

Responsabilités

  • Prospect, engage and build relationships with existing and new customers;
  • Build and drive business sales in Canada: identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities;
  • Get a good understanding of our solutions and services and be able to promote, sell and evangelize AMA technologies;
  • Understand customer’s needs and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these;
  • Generate leads from tradeshows, regional networking events and conferences;
  • In the medium-long term, in charge of the Canadian sales and business development activity.

Conditions

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 10 years of proven track record in business development in a high-tech B2B environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and with Sales Force CRM;
  • Written and verbal fluency both in French and English;
  • Tenacity and driven to seek new business and meet or exceed targets;
  • Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch;
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients;
  • Team working skills and a collaborative approach to work;
  • Decision-making skills;
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize your workload and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment;
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
