Reporting to the founders, the VP, Operations is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and control for all activities related to the operations, logistics and finances. In accordance with the strategic guidelines and the company’s management philosophy, the candidate is responsible for developing and implementing operational business plans for short, medium, and long-term.

The ideal candidate is focused on operational effectiveness and customer service excellence. He has the abilities of a unifier, developer, and communicator. He must understand the company’s business challenges, integrate, and communicate the values, by promoting the culture and adopting the behaviour of a conscious leader.
In addition, the successful candidate is an entrepreneurial and high-energy individual who is highly autonomous, with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude. He will have an operations background, a solid personal accountability for results, adherence to ethical business practices, and a strong commitment to teamwork in support of the company’s success. The individual should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced and chaos environment and must prioritize and drive actions to completion. The VP, Operations will be an impactful leader who is recognized by colleagues and peers as a talented, strategically oriented, highly organized executive with strong presence and communication skills.

Responsabilités

  • Responsible for all the operations and logistics activities
  • Provide strategic leadership and overall operational direction and consistency to enhance productivity, quality, and customer service
  • Define the mandate of his employees and set operational goals for the short and long-term business, as well as policies and procedures
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Provide day-to-day-leadership of operations and administrative procedures to facilitate growth and ensure financial strength and operating efficiency while adhering to core values of company
  • Implement the development strategies for operation, financial, human resources, and other administrative services
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices to ensure all operations are conducted appropriately and cost-effectively
  • Collaborate with management to establish goals (performance, financial, human and operational) and develop policies for his direct reports and their teams
  • Take charge of the digital transformation of Claireview to provide riguor and fluidity of information throughout the organization
  • Coordinate operations between external suppliers and internal staff to ensure smooth production and deliveries
  • Manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the company
  • Identify and resolve operational escalations/conflicts and implement a measure to correct
  • Help update the strategic plan and decision-making processes affecting operations across the company

Conditions

  • Relevant academic background, ideally a bachelor’s degree in Administration or Commerce
  • Proven business operations experience, including 5+ years in the capacity of Head of Operations in an organization, preferably within the Automotive industry
  • Strong leadership experience in management of operations
  • Demonstrated successful execution of business strategies
  • Proven collaboration abilities in bridging internal operations efficiency to provide an effective customer experience
  • Entrepreneurial approach with proven track record of problem solving with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
  • Proven leader with experience in growing, managing and developing high performing teams
  • Tech savvy
